The Audi RS6 is a driver’s dream-car. Not only are they extremely powerful, but they are also four wheel drive (Quattro) and offer superb handling coupled with an exhilarating driving experience.
We are proud to once again be able to offer this outstanding Audi RS6 with full MTM conversion. We sold this car a little over a year ago and our client has sold it back to us this year as the car was a touch extreme for him, so he’s gone back to his daily drive – a BMW M5 (!)
The car is finished in stunning metallic gun metal grey which really suits the lines of the RS6, and the car has full ivory leather interior and is absolutely packed with gadgets and gizmo’s (see the specification list below).
This RS6 has had the MTM conversion (£2,222) which boosts the already staggering power from 450bhp to 508bhp, and also removes the speed limiter (155mph as standard) and improves torque over the entire rev range. This is a very well known, respected and reliable upgrade (see one of the various RS6 forums for more information on MTM RS6 upgrades).
The conversion work was done by QS Tuning (www.qstuning.com), which is the UK’s official MTM agent, and invoices for the work are included with the car.
In addition, the suspension system has been changed from the factory standard DRC system to Bilstein PSS9 adjustable coilovers. The Bilstein adjustable coilovers essentially replace Audi’s DRC suspension system, which can be very costly to replace when they fail. Replacing the DRC system with coilovers is one of the most popular upgrades for RS6’s, and the Bilstein ones are amongst the best. This work was also done by QS Tuning, and cost £1,200 plus fitting and VAT (invoice supplied with the car).
Our client purchased this car from us last year (priced at £18,995) as his perfect dream car, and fell in love with this unique car upon first sight, bought the car and immediately spent in excess of £5,000 in improvements to make the car even better than ever!
Since purchase, our client has had the following improvements made to the car:

* There were a few minor marks around the car inkeeping with the age, mileage and nature of the vehicle. Our client is somewhat of a perfectionist and so had the entire vehicle resprayed (in the same colour) – and the quality of the respray is superb. Needless to say the condition is now near immaculate.
However, our client found the car too extreme – and it should be noted for any future owner that this really is an extremely powerful and serious piece of kit that requires a discerning driver. Our client has covered only 2,000 miles in the car during the 12 month period of ownership and has spent a LOT of money on the upgrades fitted to the car, which can only be considered as a massive plus point for the future owner!
If you’re after a good, well-cared for RS6 with some very tasteful upgrades (which also require no additional special maintenance except for the normal maintenance of the car) then this is the ideal RS6 for you!
THE EXTERIOR:
The car is finished in glorious metallic gun metal grey and is in excellent condition all-around. The car has undergone a full external respray (except for roof and skirts) within the last 12 months and the car is virtually immaculate in every sense. When we previously supplied the car to our client last year there were a few minor marks around the body of the car inkeeping with the age, mileage and power of the car. Our client is a perfectionist and so immediately had a full respray done. The quality of the respray is superb – all trims, handles etc were removed for the respray and it really does look as good as it would have when rolling out of the factory back in 2004!
The car is fitted with the original 19†Audi RS6 alloy wheels, which are all in excellent condition. We had two of the wheels professionally refurbished prior to sale to our client last year as they had some minor kerb marking at the time.
As part of the MTM conversion the car has been fitted with a Milltek exhaust system. The exhaust tailpipes themselves mimic the shape of the standard RS6 exhaust (oval) but are considerably bigger. The sound from this system is quite amazing. The standard RS6 sounds absolutely amazing – but this really is taken to the next level.
The car has also been fitted with upgraded RS6 Plus drilled front disc brakes, which is a very useful upgrade as many RS6 owners complain that the standard discs are not efficient enough. The front brake pads have also been recently changed.
The car is finished with chrome trim around the windows, on the mirrors and also on the roof rails (which really does compliment the gun metal grey bodywork), and the car also has parking sensors on both the front and the rear – a very useful feature!
THE INTERIOR:
As is to be expected from a top of the range Audi sports model, the interior is sheer luxury and finished to the highest standard.
The seats are finished in ivory leather and look stunning, and all seats are in perfect condition. There are no tears, rips or stains and are exactly as they should be. This is quite an unusual interior colour for an RS6 (most have the standard black) and really does makes the car look that little bit extra special.
These are the official RS6 Recaro seats and the front seats are both electric. The seats are also heated – as are the rear seats!
The door inserts are also finished in ivory leather for an excellent two-tone look (again, quite unusual in the RS6). The dashboard insert trims are a much lighter metallic shade than normal, almost appearing as white metal. We’re not sure if this is factor standard or if they have been specially re-coloured, but it looks fantastic and quite unique.
The roof interior is completely lined with Alcantara, again in ivory to match the seats and interior rather than the standard grey – which is in excellent condition – and this really is a luxurious touch that finishes off the interior beautifully.
The car has the full deluxe Sat Nav and entertainment system complete with TV, and has both front and rear parking sensors. It has just about every gadget you can think of – check out the specifications list at the end – there’s simply too much to list here!
The previous owner has had a 6 stack DVD player fitted into the boot compartment, along with rear headrest screens and a wireless headphone system. In addition, he has had TV in motion enabled, and the system has been configured so that DVD content can be fed to both front and rear screens, or alternatively you can watch DVD’s in the rear and TV (or radio, CD etc) in the front – so it’s fully configurable to do pretty much whatever you like.
This is the first RS6 we’ve seen fitted with rear screens – and it really is an outstanding addition and adds to the uniqueness of the car and makes it that little but more special.
This is the Tiptronic model and so has the gear shift paddles on the steering wheel, so you can take manual control or let Auto take over for those lazy cruising days.
SERVICE HISTORY:
The car has a FULL SERVICE HISTORY from new and comes complete with the stamped Audi Service Log book.
The car was fully serviced with 1st Class Marques at 82,487 miles. This was a full service to Audi main dealer standard using only genuine Audi or Audi approved parts/fluids and included change of oil, oil filter, air filters, pollen filter, fuel filter, brake fluid and health check including full diagnostic scan.
If you are serious about RS6’s then you will know that it’s essential to ensure that the timing belt is changed as per Audi’s service schedule. Well, we can confirm that Engine Tech Limited changed the cam belt at 67,012 miles on 22/09/2008.
