The Audi RS6 is a driver’s dream-car. Not only are they extremely powerful, but they are also four wheel drive (Quattro) and offer superb handling coupled with an exhilarating driving experience.
We are proud to once again be able to offer this outstanding Audi RS6 with full Revo conversion. We sold this car two years ago and we were delighted to come across it once again and so snapped it up.
The car is supplied with an extensive service history, and we have a stack of Audi invoices – each still carefully kept within their original individual Audi cardboard sleeves.
Sports Tech Limited, who are an Audi specialist who do a lot of work to these types of cars, have conducted a Revo Stage 1 ECU Remap (£899) which boosts the already staggering power from 450bhp to 515bhp, and also boosts the torque from 455 to 500. This is a very well known, respected and reliable upgrade (see one of the various RS6 forums for more information on Revo’s RS6 upgrades). This is a software-only upgrade and can easily be reverted at any official Revo supplier if required (although that would seem somewhat unlikely!)
The RS6’s infamous DRC suspension issue will not affect this car as it has already had it’s suspension changed to H&R adjustable coilovers, and lowered a fraction for a meaner appearance. The H&R adjustable coilovers essentially replace Audi’s DRC suspension system, which can be very costly to replace should it fail. Replacing the DRC system with coilovers is one of the most popular upgrades for RS6’s, and the H&R ones are amongst the best.
Another nice touch is that the brake discs have been upgraded to RS6 Plus discs, which are from the limited edition RS6 and come drilled as standard to offer better brake performance then the standard discs. The RS6 Plus discs are very costly so this is a great upgrade to have.
Another concern for potential RS6 owners is the cambelt change because it is very expensive on these cars. But again this is not an issue at all on this car because the cam belt was changed (by Audi) at 83,103 miles.
Also worthy of note is that this car is already fitted with a Tracker, which can often be a requirement for insurance companies.
The car is finished in stunning metallic gun metal grey which really suits the lines of the RS6, and the car has full black leather interior and is absolutely packed with gadgets and gizmo’s (see the specification list below).
If you are after a genuine RS6 with an outstanding calibre and history and with all of the common concerns about RS6 ownership already addressed and resolved – then this would make a very fine choice indeed!
THE EXTERIOR:
The car is finished in glorious metallic gun metal grey and is in excellent condition all-around. Being a used car, there will no doubt be a few very minor marks around the car – but absolutely nothing untoward or unexpected. To describe the overall condition as anything other than outstanding would be to do it a disservice!
The car is fitted with the original 19†Audi RS6 alloy wheels, which are all in excellent condition, and the brake discs have been upgraded to the superior RS6 Plus drilled discs.
The car is finished with chrome trim around the windows, on the mirrors and also on the roof rails (which really does compliment the gun metal grey bodywork), and the car also has parking sensors on both the front and the rear – a very useful feature!
THE INTERIOR:
As is to be expected from a top of the range Audi sports model, the interior is sheer luxury and finished to the highest standard. Everything inside is finished in black - it has black carbon fibre inserts, and even the doors handles are finished in black (rather than the more common chrome).
The seats are finished in black leather with white piping, and all seats are in excellent condition. There are no tears, rips or stains and are exactly as they should be.
These are the official RS6 Recaro seats and the front seats are both electric. The seats are also heated – as are the rear seats!
The roof interior is completely lined with dark grey Alcantara (similar to suede) – which is in excellent condition – and this really is a luxurious touch that finishes off the interior beautifully.
The car has the full deluxe Sat Nav and entertainment system complete with TV, and has both front and rear parking sensors. It has just about every gadget you can think of – check out the specifications list at the end – there’s simply too much to list here!
This is the Tiptronic model and so has the gear shift paddles on the steering wheel, so you can take manual control or let Auto take over for those lazy cruising days.
SERVICE HISTORY:
The car has a FULL SERVICE HISTORY from new and comes complete with the stamped Audi Service Log book.
The car was fully serviced with Audi at 83,110 miles. The next service is not now due for approximately another 11,000 miles (as shown by the on-board service indicator).
If you are serious about RS6’s then you will know that it’s essential to ensure that the timing belt is changed as per Audi’s service schedule. Well, we can confirm that Audi Glasgow changed the cam belt at 83,103 miles (on 30/11/2011) – and the invoice for this work is provided with the car.
In addition to this, we also have receipts from Audi showing the work that has been done over the years – and it shows just how well looked-after this car has been. All receipts will of course be included with the car.
