The Porsche Cayenne really does currently offer quite frankly ridiculous value for money. The previous owner paid £26,000 for the car around two years ago (purchased from a Porsche main dealer), so you can clearly see just how much of a bargain these cars really are. There’s very little choice of cars at this kind of price level that offers 4x4 practicalities matched with this level of performance and prestige. Nissan 4x4 money for a Porsche - quite astonishing.
This model is fitted with the excellent Porsche 4.5 litre engine, which provides a breath-taking 340bhp! This is the Tiptronic model so features the excellent 6 speed automatic gearbox complete with manual paddle shifts on the multi-function steering wheel. This really is a superb example of the stunning Porsche Cayenne.
THE EXTERIOR:
The car is finished in stunning metallic Basalt Black (surely the nicest Cayenne colour?) with the silver window surrounds and is in excellent condition all-around. The privacy glass against the black bodywork and silver window surrounds really does finish the car off beautifully.
The car is fitted with 20†Turbo alloys to complete the look of the car. Please note at the time of photographing there were some very minor kerbing marks to some of the alloys (visible in the images), but the wheels have been refurbished and so are near-immaculate once again.
The car is fitted with Porsche’s excellent Porsche Communications Management (PCM) system, which is an integrated CD player, radio, and Sat Nav system. It is also fitted with the optional phone preparation – just insert a sim card and you’re good to go!
This car is also fitted with factory fitted parking sensors on both the front and the rear to aid parking.
THE INTERIOR:
As is to be expected from a top of the range Porsche model, the interior is sheer luxury and finished to the highest standard. The dash board trim and door trims are all finished in genuine leather.
The seats are finished in black leather, and all seats are in perfect condition. There are no tears, rips or stains and are exactly as they should be. The car also has electric adjustable seats for both driver and front passenger.
In addition the driver’s seat features a memory function. This is extremely useful if both you and partner drive the car as you can press the memory buttons and the seat will automatically adjust itself to your own unique position before you’ve even got into the car.
The car is fitted with Porsche’s excellent computerised Control system, which is an integrated CD player, radio, and Sat Nav system. It is also fitted with the optional phone preparation – just insert a sim card and you’re good to go, and calls can be answered via the controls on the multi-function steering wheel.
Another nice touch is that the car is fitted with the optional extra slide and tilt sunroof – perfect from those hot summer days cruising through the countryside.
The car is fitted with parking sensors for both front and rear and are 100% fully functioning and very useful when parking.
SERVICE HISTORY:
The car has a FULL PORSCHE SERVICE HISTORY from new and comes complete with the stamped Porsche Service Log book.
The car was fully serviced on the 5th May 2011 by Porsche Stratford at 81,014 miles.
Cayenne’s follow the long-life service schedule and so require servicing approximately every 18,000 – 20,000 miles. This car is not far off its next service being due, but no warning has yet come on in the dash display (a service warning comes on when servicing time is getting near). We can, by separate negotiation, easily service the car if required.
